Contributing

MantisConnect would benefit of contributions in areas like:

• Developing applications based on MantisConnect.
• Developing add-ons for development IDEs (e.g. Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc).
• Porting to Mono (Windows / Linux).
• Porting to SharpDevelop.
• Porting to Visual C# Express Edition.
• Extending functionality of MantisConnect.
• Contributing webservice clients in other languages.
• Contributing patches.
• Documentation.
• Testing, reporting of issues and feature requests.
• Contributing C# NUnit test cases.
• Contributing use tools and examples that are based on MantisConnect.
• And other areas...

The coding standard used is the one developed by Phillips. Thanks to Phillips for making such a valuable piece of work available for external use.

The main development environment for this project will be Visual Studio .NET 2003 and .NET Framework v1.1. However, there is a NAnt script that can be used to compile the project.
