I, Victor Boctor, the administrator of Mantis Bugtracker. As an administrator for Mantis, I saw the need for an easy way to report issues into Mantis via scripts, email, and applications. I did some work in Mantis to make developing such scripts easier, but as per my interest in C# and webservices, have decided to do further work in the area of linking .NET applications with Mantis and hence established the MantisConnect project.
