 Yes, the idea is that eventually MantisConnect should support .NET Framework 1.1, 2.0, and Mono. However, I haven't used Mono yet, and I don't have a Linux test machine handy. So I will probably need some help with that.

 Isn't it safe to say, that given the SOAP/PHP webservices defined in webservices/ that MantisConnect does support basically every platform?

It's just a matter of generating, or wtiting the C/C++/ObjC/C# stubs on any given platform?

Or is the poster referring to releasing a client library that one can use with GTK(+), Qt, wxWidgets, etc?

Otherwise, can't we close/resolve this issue?

 At the moment, the PHP web service and the Java client will work on Linux, but the C# client doesn't support Mono yet.

As tyler indicated, MantisConnect can always be used as a web service with a custom implementation of the client library implemented using your preferred programming language.

I'll close this later on when the MC version with Java client is released and a separate issue is added for Mono support.
