This is the third Mantis maintenance release to Mantis 1.0.0 release. The main focus of this release is to fix installation and MS SQL Server issues. It also includes one security fix.

As usual, my contributions start with getting the code to compile without warnings, XML comments, and CLS compliance.

Archivesat is now hosting online mirrors for Mantis mailing lists. This includes mirrors for help, announcement and developer mailing lists. The online version is searchable.

BugTrap is a relatively simple utility which will connect to Mantis and update you as to the latest issue that's been modified on the bug tracker.

BugTrap is a Mac OS X tool that is similar to the MantisNotify sample that is part of the MantisConnect project. BugTrap utilises the MantisConnect Cocoa client API.

I was visiting the Mantis project page on SourceForge and I found a link "2006 Community Choice Awards - Nominate this project!". I clicked the link and was surpised to find out that Mantis is a candidate in the "Development" category for nomination for the 2006 Community Choice Award.

It would have been great that project administrators would get a notification when such thing is launched, or at least get it when their project is listed as a candidate!

Anyway, the nominations will close on March 15th, the top 5 projects in each category will then be the nominated ones and voting among them will start on March 17th.

I would really encourage you all to take the time to vote for Mantis, it will be a great way to raise Mantis profile in the community and give a pat on the back for all Mantis developers and contributors.
